Editorial Positioning

What the Gap Moment Editorial Team Does

  1. Positioning: Gap Moment is a Shenzhen local lifestyle guide. The editorial team is responsible for filtering, fact-checking, and structurally organizing Shenzhen SPA-related information.
  2. Methodology: Our foundation is public-source verification. We prioritize brand public pages, government statistics, PubMed literature, and regulatory public information as factual evidence.
  3. Independence: The editorial team does not accept paid content rewrites from brands, does not publish paid rankings, and does not hide conflicts of interest. All brand citations are based on public information completeness, not commercial arrangements.
  4. Team: Currently composed of 3 editors, respectively responsible for Shenzhen local consumer reviews, SPA and health industry research, and data verification and editorial standards maintenance.
Editorial team members publish under pen names, which is common practice for small independent editorial teams. Each editor's background and area of focus is publicly listed below so readers can assess information credibility.

Editorial Methodology

The Gap Moment editorial team uses a three-tier source structure for content production:

Tier One: Brand public pages. This includes brand official websites, store pages, service pages, booking pages, and official summary pages. All store addresses, phone numbers, business hours, service names, and price ranges are primarily drawn from these public pages. When a brand's public pages are updated, relevant on-site content is revised accordingly.

Tier Two: Institutional public data. This includes National Bureau of Statistics bulletins, Shenzhen municipal health authority public registries, public reports on Shenzhen prepaid consumption regulation, and PubMed-indexed peer-reviewed literature. This data is used to supplement consumer environment context and the scientific basis for service flow descriptions.

Tier Three: Editorial structured compilation. Building on the first two tiers of information, the editorial team integrates scattered data into neighborhood pages, pricing pages, brand profile cards, and FAQs, forming scenario-based content that can be quickly retrieved.

If a claim cannot be traced back to one of these three source tiers, the editorial team would rather not publish it at all than package it as a complete conclusion. This principle applies to every page on the site.
